YAY! So, to update everyone: Target and Ace Hardware have both agreed to give us $50 gift cards each for their stores! We're tentatively planning on using the Target money to buy our t-shirts to have them printed on by a t-shirt printing company and the Ace Hardware gift card will be perfect for buying little pots and grass seed to sell as cat treats! How exciting, huh? And we didn't even have to wash any cars to get it; Rachel, the co-adviser, wrote up some very nice donation request letters and we've sent them to various companies in the community. Thank you, Rachel (and I plan on thanking Target and Ace with some nice "thank you" cards and by frequenting them with my business).

Wal-Mart wants to give us $50 too! This is so great! We've now made, I think, just as much money as we did when we worked our butts off for 4 hours washing cars!

I'm glad to see that these major stores will gift a little bit of funds to help organizations in need.

I know a way you get them to give you $50/month in Visa Gift Cards, NOT just a one time Gift card.

That's right, you read it right. Ace, and Target, and Wallmart, and Exxon, and Cheveron, the list goes on and on, as far as Visa goes.

Fundraising doesn't have to be hard and not profitable, that's NOT why organizations like yours is called a NON Profit. You need to profit HANDSOMELY.

Heather,
Get this: NuEra Fundraising will supply you with certificates that you'll sell for $100 ea. They'll split the $100 with you and in turn the donor of the $100 will recieve $500 in Visa Giftcards.

The cards are transferable so they TOO can be gifted between family or whomever.
